ETA for prospects

I would like to see a top prospects ETA similar to MLB.com. In the scouting report and in the team’s prospect. So, it’s easier to know when a player is ready to come move up to the next level. It would look better in the minor league system report suggestion then saying possibly ready for Major League Level. For example, I’m playing as the A’s and Sean Murphy the A’s prospect catcher who’s still in high A ball. I want to know when he will be ready for the major’s. In real life his ETA is 2019. I think this would be a more realistic look to go along with the new scouting report.

I hope this can be put in the game this year. If not next year.

not an argument:

if they did this it couldn't give away who is good or not etc.. so it'd be mostly asthetic in nature without giving us too good of information.

the randomness of developement engine should be enough to cloud the picture maybe?

but, it'd almost have to be simply "1year" at AAA or "2-3" at AA etc.. some stock case select logic with a few caveats for age and mil resutls or development rate upto that point. it wouldn't really help you plan beyond your own reasoning skills. it could randomly shift speeds and no way to know ahead of time.

it would have to be a similar one-size fits all projection, i think.. or it could be easily abused to mine information we shouldn't reasonably be able to know without being omniscient.

fwiw, that's exactly what hte RL list is.. mostly asthetic and at best a mild correlation to actual future results.
