Olympics question

so now that we can make WBC type tournaments as any one ever made Summer Olympics during the middle of the season? any issues?
Did players get hurt?
Teams loosing their good players affect them in standings?

Any tips?

Ok new questions not in front of my pc bit something came to me. I have 3 tournaments each is every 4 years World Baseball Classic, World Baseball Cup and Summer Olympics is there a way to view all-time stata for all those tourneys all at once at a players profile?

I've often wondered about The Wolf as well. He was definitely one of the most knowledgeable posters and forceful personalities here. I even PM'd him about a year ago but he never got back to me.

He last posted here on June 6, 2016. I always worry when people suddenly disappear on the anniversary of major historical events. Hopefully, Wolf wasn't ensnared in some barbed wire or Dragon's Teeth trying to reenact the Normandy landings somewhere.

Theoretically yes, but that isn't reflected in-game. Players from the 40-man roster can be "lost" to international tournaments.

Yeah I realized that it was trying to set the Olympics in August and I was afraid that it will pull the players away from the team so I still have it as olympics but I just moved it to March

It would be cool if we had some options on that. Like being able to protect a certain amount of players from olympic selection.

Game does award medals like in real life? Gold, Silver Bronze? Theres no Bronze medal game

No, it awards a champion. Although the player profile icons did not replicate that in OOTP18. Hoping it does in OOTP19, the same with a third-place game (which is missing) from tournaments.

Padreman, if you look at how you have the rules setup for each tourney and what pool players are chosen from, it will pick it like those. If you want to mimic MLB players not being chosen for the Olympics, make sure the highest level set is Triple-A or the quality of player highest is AAA.
