A couple of truly awesome features...

I'm a casual baseball fan and play more OOTP than I do watching actual baseball.

I played the heck out of 14, skipped 15, played the heck out of 16, skipped 17 and just fired up 18 a few months ago.

It's just a huge feature that I'm able to continue my career/universe from version to version. I don't know of any other sports sim that offers this. I get so invested into a career/universe that I wouldn't purchase another version for many years if I couldn't carry my game over. Huge props to the development team for making this feature a staple of OOTP.

The second feature that I'm just absolutely loving is the game recaps. I do not play my games out and until 18, was analyzing box scores and stats. It might have been in 17 (didn't play that version) but the written game recaps saves me so much time in focusing my attention on the big events that took place during the game. Another big thank you for the developers for this feature.

As a developer myself, I know that it is rare we hear the positive side of things, and it's just usually a litany of defects and things that should be improved. The people who are pleased with the product rarely speak up so consider this a global thanks to OOTP developments for the awesome games they are producing.

P.S. I may even buy an odd year version when 19 rolls out!
