Arm Slots and Imported Games

Hey All,

Will arm slots be added to leagues imported from last year’s games?

And along the same line, will relievers have a much higher chance of being submariners, etc? And if so, would this logic be applied to imported games?

Sounds like an awesome feature, hope I can use it in the league I’ve been playing for years. Very excited!

Thanks!

Yeah, we'll try to "guess" at arm slots for any imported players, based on their splits, pitch selection, etc...

Just curious at how this feature will make a difference practically in game or is it just a little more of a descriptor?

It's used a little in calculating player's splits, and is listed in scouting reports, but it's not a huge piece.

Currently just 4 arm slots - submariner, side arm, 3/4, and over the top.

Wouldn't those be more like delivery styles instead of specific arm slots?

Matt, a special thanks for this clarification. I have to get out more (into the world of Baseball, that is), because I did not have any idea what "arm slots" were? Something analogous to arm pits, perhaps?

But, oh yeah? Well, here's your challenge, my friend. Try incorporating some of these "pitching styles" (which is the term I was familiar with) in the game!
