After 20 posts in this thread, no one has suggested a solution on how to disable this auto spring training invite.

I have thus disabled spring training completely and let everyone (my team and other teams) shake off their off-season rust in April.

I don't believe there is a way to do so and I don't think there should be.

That’s what it is in OOTP AFAIK.

Just go to the rosters and transactions screen and the active roster is xx/40 until opening day

Unfortunately, no. You're looking at the limit, not at the actual players.

It is possible in-game for a player to be on the secondary roster in the offseason/preseason but not the active roster. This scenario is not possible in real life, so this is a bug and it needs to be fixed.

You know what, I'm going to call you out on this here.

Your response to spring training rosters working as intended is to disable spring training??? I fully admit that the spring training lineup/pitching AI is broken, but the roster itself is not broken.

I'm not calling ST auto invites broken. I said I want to disable it to suit my style of play. If auto invite all players on secondary roster to active roster for ST is what happens in real life, then that is fine. I wish to keep active roster at 25 at all times - that is just how I play.

You could play without the Secondary Roster.

Come to think of it, what happens if the spring training roster size is 25 (if that's possible)?
