Playoff bug
For two years in a row – the 1930/31 and 1931/32 season – the playoff schedule is crazy. My team, Montreal Canadiens, will now play two conference finals the same day – first against Boston and then against NY Americans. Exactly the same happened last season, where I ended up winning the Stanley Cup by beating the Bruins (2-1) and then losing to Toronto (1-3). In the finals I met Toronto again, winning the series 3-2.......
This year it looks like this... No winner! No awards! I've given EHM many chances, but now i'm done. This sucks. |

It looks like the mid-30's playoff system is placing the first-place team in the Canadian division in the playoff spot belonging to the third-place team, in addition to its own. Normally that could potentially cause a crash if the same team eventually had to play itself, but it looks like the game is skipping the series if that happens and moving the team ahead to the next round (or awarding it the championship if that's the final - Montreal should appear as the champion in the league history in your game), so it didn't get noticed during testing because the history was still complete and the game wasn't interrupted. We'll get that fixed in the update.

For how many years during the 30's can I expect unplayable playoffs? |

The last possible season for it to happen will be 37-38, but the playoff rule set switches in 36-37, so those last two years may be unaffected.
