Is it possible to play out/manage multiple games same day?

Sometimes I'd like to play out/manage several games in the same day, but been unable to do so, as once I play 1 game during a day all of the other games also do.

For example, I want to play/manage White Sox-Royals on June 1st and also play out/manage game between the Red Sox-Yankees. I find that once I play out/manage the White Sox-Royals game the Red Sox-Yankees game and all other games scheduled for June 1st also play out/are simmed.

This leads to choosing which game each day I want to play out/manage and reading about the rest. It is particularly frustrating during the playoffs.

Uncheck the "play all games in the background" box. You'll see that in the first screen when you try and play a game.

I must be looking in the wrong area for the background box.

When I click on the box to "Manage" a game. First screen to appear is under the "Options and Preview" tab. It has a box that can be checked (which I do) for "Pause after each play". Next to it are two buttons "Cancel Game" and "Start Game". Below that are lineups for each team.

Where do I find the screen with option to uncheck box "play all games in the background"?

Another question -

How do you prevent game from changing team owners? Is that possible to prevent?

I'm not in a spot where I can play a game. Try all tabs, it's there for sure.

not that i know.
you can always change owners in the commish mode, if you don't like the one created by the game. (just edit their name and profile, etc ...) ---- not that i'd EVERRRR do anything like that ..... ... well, not often anyway.

Thank you. I've been editing the owners name and profile, but then find them fired and listed as available personnel, with no way of putting them back in as owner.

Have also had game create an owner (Bud Selig), that I'd already created, fire the version I created and replace him with computer version. So I'm happy to see Bud Selig owning the Brewers, but disappointed it's not same version I'd created.

Game is still awesome! I'm amazed at all the detail. I'm hoping OOTP 19 will have ability to modify owners in same manner that other personnel can be modified.

I've still not found the tab that has box to uncheck for playing all games. I'm not finding it in the manual either. Can anyone point me in right direction?

When you click on a game you want to play. The game goes to the game preview screen. To the right, you will see each teams lineup and pitchers for the day. On the left of the screen you have game options. The very last item on the game options portion, bottom left, reads "Simulate World in Background" You want to switch this from yes to no. Once you do so, all the games will play one at a time.
