starting a historical career?

I have OOTP5, and have not been able to figure this out. When I go to start a historical league (I want to play a solo league with 1980's players), it asks me for the location of the database. As of right now I do not have a database for 1980's players. Where can I get one? And, where would I put the database (my OOTP5 is in d:\ootp5)?

I followed that tutorial, nice written it is, and have not been able to set up a historical league. I did get the correct collection of cvs files (from the Lahman database, I think that is the name), my computer ha smore than enough hd space to run the program, the processor is just fine, there is a lot of ram, etc. I am getting that bug where it just crashes OOTP, when I try to install a historical league. If you haev any information on how to overcome this, please let me know.

If you follow the FAQ you should have no probelms, make sure and give your league a "unique" name.
