how to quit just the manager job
I'm currently in the middle of a season right now as the GM and Manager. How do I quit just the manager job and only keep the GM job without losing my team completely?

On Control & Auto-Play Settings make sure Play in Commissioner Mode is selected. Then change Your Role to just GM. Then you can exit Commissioner mode. Go hire you a new Manager.

Then you will need to hire a manager & an assistant GM. In the middle of the season, i'd promote the bench coach to manager, and move someone from the minors up to take that place. You can only move someone into Assistant GM position. i never saw a way to hire someone off the street. So you may have to move your bench coach or new manager into that position, and hire someone else for the manager position. it would be easier to do all of that at the end of the season, i believe. But not impossible to do mid-season. Good luck. Let us know how it goes ....
