League Reputation and Star Ratings
Question for all of you guys out there. If I create a fictional league and set the league reputation to 10 (equivalent to MLB) I'm assuming a solid amount of the created players that end up in the amateur draft will have anywhere between 5-3 star potential ratings correct? So if I set that down to like 8 or 7 will the correct assumption be that there will be less of those 5-3 star players?

if you don't have multiple leagues runing (not counting affiliated Minors), it won't matter much.
players created for the league depend on Player creation modifiers -- if "1.000" and you have enough Rounds in the draft, all is well. Assumes region with high-quality players too.. (best to select "no region" or whatever default is unless a specific reason exists - personal preferences and such) players will leave for high rep leagues, but if you only have 1 mlb it won't matter. i'd still set your highest league to "10" or whatever max is. the ability for players to leave or come back can be controlled by options too. if oyu make multiple "major" leagues in your world, then you can differentiate them with league rep - but not required. |
