Yes, these are the highest potential players I have ever seen released.

Played around with this last night...couple observations:
1. Noticed you recommended 7 relievers and 12 position players? Is that on purpose so that the AI can decide what to do with that final 25th spot? do you see teams carrying extra arms? 2. Setting the ratings to be relative to all players (not by position) really changed things at least in my world. seems that the AI dropped its evaluation for all relievers, including most closers, to the 30-45 range (on a 20-80 scale). Kind of makes sense if you think about it...long and middle relievers are generally the highest churn/turnover roster spots...but I was surprised to not see elite closers rated in the 60+ range. What does your world look like? any impact on salaries over a few years?

1. That's exactly why I did that...and yes, some teams will carry 8 relievers, while others just seven. I only did it for MLB though. I did not do it for the minors because they all have a DH I allowed it for the AL because some actual AL teams are doing this anyway, despite having the DH rule. 2. Yes, decent relievers are often rated 40-45. Good ones are still about a 60, while the elite are still 80. There are 5 rated 80 1 rated 75 4 rated 70 10 rated 65 26 rated 60 26 rated 55 Last edited by PSUColonel; 12-28-2017 at 10:59 AM. |

I'll have to take a closer look through all the teams and see if I find any closers or top relievers rated higher than the mid 40's. Thanks for your data.

Ah. thanks. I do see some CL and RP in the 60+ range without that checked...once I check it though, the highest RP has an overall rating of 60, and there are only 10 RPs (including CLs) that are rated over 50.
Interesting.
