Best way to give OOTP as a gift?

My brother and I have played OOTP for years and would like to give it to our father this year from Christmas. What's the easiest way for me to buy a license but then have him install it on his PC? Thanks!

Just buy it and give your father the receipt with the licence code in an envelope with Merry Christmas on it. Have a thumbdrive with the latest executable on it in the envelope or put it all in a little box or a trinket baseball if that could be obtained.

You could take it one step further and offer to install and activate it, if that wouldn't offend.

2 active apps per license? 4 available for 3 people.

just saying, without getting too specific

i'm sure that's actually part of why they allow it... if someone likes it, they are likely to be a new customer next year. probably outweighs those that do it indefinitely.

Another way to do so would be to get him a Steam gift card. I think it's on sale right now for $9.99 on Steam.

I'm curious to know too lol. I work at a gas station and a few weeks ago I suggested to a customer passing through that he should check out OOTP. He sounded interested so I hope he checked it out.
