minor league expansion teams not playing games

I created a game using the 2017 rosters, and immediately expanded the league by 2 teams. Did the draft, set up rosters, everything seems to be fine. Except when the season started, none of my minor league teams, nor did the other expansion minor league teams, played games. Everybody else did, but my teams sat at 0-0 all season long. I am going to try again, but does anybody know what might be going on there? Seems weird to me, I figure it has something to do with the schedule. Might be something as simple as just needing to recreate the schedule for each minor league?

when you expanded, did you generate a new schedule? i believe you can only generate schedules in preseason or off-season.

I believe mitchkenn is correct. If the AI made the expansion, everything would have been fine, but if you manually expanded, that you would have had to generate a new schedule for the new teams to play games.
