Retired Players
I retired a player in fictional mode. But when I checked the league leader board, I noticed his stats were retired as well. Why would the game allow a player to retire and also retire his stats too? Did I miss a setting somewhere? Any help is appreciated.

it may have to do with which screen you were looking at, which info you were displaying etc.
if he's in a list and "career" is selected it should show career stats whether active or retired. league leaderboard will show active mixed with retired for sure, too. list all mlb players - tick "include retired players" [sic], leaderboard should already include them with active. search his name / surname. click him and make sure the link is accurate -- his profile comes up and his stats. done a purge? not suggesting, but could be a cause in rare instances. it recommends a backup for a reason, although i've never had a problem with it. it won't speed anything up, fyi. if you clear out 30-50k+ players with 0 mlb GP you might save space large enough to recognize, maybe. it wrecks links in old email, messages, retired #'s (re-do playerID # for easy easy fix for retired #'s). rarely worth it, hate to put the idea in someone's head to use it. |

Thanks for the response. I have some homework to do. I'll look into your suggestions to see what I can figure out. Thanks again!
