Two fine leagues need a commish

Due to some unexpected continuing health problems, I am forced to relinquish both the Maverick Baseball League (MBL) and the Aaron Ty Baseball League.

These are both fine leagues that deserve a good, committed commish at the helm.

The MBL is beginning it's third season and has an excellent and very active group of owners. It is an alternate reality league that is to convert from OOTP4 to OOTP5 for the upcoming season. It uses a mix of current real and fictional players and has an extensive series of programs that the owners love.

Aaron Ty Baseball is just finishing it's first season, but has a good core group of owners that are anxious to see the league continue. It is a "hall of fame" type league with the likes of Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, Pedro Martinez, Roger Clemons, etc.

If anyone is interested in taking the helm for either or both of these leagues, please contact me at adventureran@ransplace.com. I will be happy to help out in anyway I can including providing websites and space for both.

The owners have already been contacted and know that any of them are also welcome to take over.

For those whose leagues I am just a player in, I do not plan to cut back there at this point. It doesn't take that much time and energy to continue to field losing teams. So you'll still have me to kick around.

For those in both the MBL and Aaron Ty, I publicly apologize for letting you down. This was a difficult decision, but I really need to cut back to just running one league to give myself time to rest and get healthy again. And 4Ever Baseball is my dream league and it will continue on as always.

P.S. - if anybody would like a worn out, broken down, physically wrecked body, please let me know. I've got for sale -- cheap!

1. Don't sweat the small stuff
2. In the end it's all small stuff

Thanks for all the kind words and well wishes. The MBL has a new fine commissioner in Jon Papp who will take over this coming week. So the MBL will live on and continue to prosper.

Aaron Ty Baseball will, however, not continue past the current season. We are in the midst of an exciting playoff and after that it will be taken down.

Thanks to all those who participated and visited the league. There are a couple other leagues I could recommend that are similar to it, if you are interested. Just drop me a line.
