Newly Drafted Player Eligible For Rule V Draft?!?

OBSL Commish All Star Reserve Join Date: Aug 2010 Posts: 946	Newly Drafted Player Eligible For Rule V Draft?!? Has anybody else had this happen?: I drafted a 17-years-old pitcher in the amateur draft, a potential 5-star prospect, signed him to a decent deal ($1.3 million signing bonus out of the 2nd round), and then fast forwarded to the Rule V draft, which is two weeks later than the Rule IV draft. Lo and behold, he shows up in the Rule V draft pool. He was not given a major league contract when I signed him. Anyone know what happened here and how to reverse this? Thanks.
