Game crashes during bi-monthly scouting update

The game crashes during the bi-monthly scouting update. I tried a couple different things to narrow the issue:
- Changed to yearly scouting and it finished the say without crashing. I put back to bi-monthly and it crashed.
- It always crashes while updating for Miami.

Any info would be great
