![]() Good, less is more with the Ball family. Smell you later. There is no way he gets drafted. Doesn't sound like he is going to transfer. Wonder if he ends up in some weird Estonian league or whatever. Last edited by TribeFanInNC; 12-04-2017 at 05:16 PM. |

I did not understand the reporting that his father pulled him out of school. He is an adult isn't he?
Daddy Ball reminds me of Papa Rasmus when Colby was in the Cardinals minor leagues, just louder.

Going to like something IMG academy could actually make you a better player than the NCAA system.
I don't think it will happen in this case since its now the second week of December and he was a very iffy draft pick. But going to the NCAA for a single year under crappy coaching and NCAA limited practice time is not the best way forward for someone who's ultimate goal is professional basketball. Look at Ben Simmons, lets pretend he would of progress the same at LSU as he has now. He had a great freshmen year stats wise but played with inferior talent and had ****ty coaching. Last year lets assume he gets the same foot injury and gets a medical redshirt. Now this year he is a redshirt sophomore and what? Is 25/8/8 with 4 steals a game? I despise the NCAA system and had the 19 year old age limit. The age limit should be abolished and the NBA should funnel some more money into the G-League. Increase the minimum salary and the upper salaries and make it a viable path out of highschool and into the NBA. If my son was 17 and considered a NBA talent unless he just really wanted that one year college experience there is no way I would advise him to go to college. Let him go to China or Greece or wherever for a year. Make 200k mostly of 100% tax free and then declare for the draft. For LiAnegelo being an NBA player was always a long shot. Lonzo and the youngest son were considered the best of the three The youngest boy was pulled out of HS and AAU ball as well so who knows where that will even go. It may be 1 out of 3 who actually get drafted. |

Dads pull kids out of college now? College kids are basically the high schoolers of 20 years ago |
