Family in OOTP
I am in a fictional online league; is there any way within player profiles to see the family relationship between players? For example, in this draft class, there is an obscure name with Jr, so they are obviously father/son, but not sure if you can confirm or if it is documented anywhere within the OOTP application.

I don't know if it works in an online league, but you could always type the player's name (minus the Jr. bit) in the search bar to find his father/uncle.
That's usually how I do it when I find a possible 2nd generation player. After that, it's up to one's imagination and a bit of editing of the player's history. |

In real life, there is more to just last name.
Of course some players with the same last name, even perhaps matching full first, middle, and last names, with a "Jr." "Sr." pair might not be remotely related. And some players with different last names might be brothers, half brothers, or cousins. This does seem to me to be one of those features that would make the game more interesting and appealing. With better than average bang for buck in development costs. |
