Processing at the end of each month?

Curious about what is happening when I see a status line like this:
"19% 14/72: Games 2 (lines: 202378)"

I have a large game universe. I understand this leads to delays.
This status line seems to be showing up when I "finish day" into the next month. Takes about a half an hour to go through whatever process the game is doing. Compared to less than a minute for most days.

My best guess is something like scouting reports are updated. But I have scouting report updates set for bi-monthly and don't see this status mid month.
