Unwanted fictional players

I'm starting a league with teams from all eras and when I go to my player roster, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig are sharing the locker room with a bunch of fictional players. It's happened for all the tams and I want to get rid of these fictional players. Anyone know how to do this?

How exactly did you create your league?

I created a fictional league and replaced the fictional teams with historical teams. I followed the instructions on this old thread:

You forgot to delete the fictional players.

there's a checkbox that prevents fictional players from playing in the majors... i only mention because it might help you round them up for deletion, or at least relegate them to purgatory (mil, if any active, maybe FA unable to sign.)
