Scouting Reports - Format Sucks
The format of the Scouting Reports is very difficult to read and hard on the eyes. The way the data is jumbled together is ridiculous.
The reports should be formatted like a Table with sortable columns, or if that is to difficult technically, then at lease have the reports be sorted by rating (they are currently sorted by player last name). I don't want to be getting eye strain trying to read through a bunch of 1.0 or 1.5 potential players trying to find a good quality player. This really needs to be fixed as soon as possible. As you can see below, almost half of the screen isn't even being used. Last edited by Chomps; 11-04-2017 at 10:57 PM. |

Couldn't agree more!
I've found there are a lot of examples throughout the game where the functionality is there, but the interface feels rushed and lacks any thought or detail. The scout reports were actually listed on the FHM4 Change List, but the only change was to group players by position. |

I could see Sorting by potential being an interesting thought. However the scouting list is much improved over previous versions. Trying to find players through individual scout lists was not ideal, so we tried something different this year. It wasn't rushed, it was more a reformatting of the previous version. The groups making it easier to compare players directly. Part of the reason you may actually feel overwhelmed as well is the way you're choosing to Scout. When assigning Scouts, you can scout for Quality, or Scout for Quantity. If you're not worried about players who may not be great fits for you, I would suggest assigning your scouts to look for Quality, which will drop how many guys you're looking at as well. |

It's difficult to compare players directly if those you want to compare don't fit within the same scroll area. I'd also argue that this scout report doesn't really provide enough information to be able to compare players, other than on their current and potential ability. |

How about taking a page from EHM and being able to tell you scouts what quality of players to report on? I loved that feature..only 3 stars or better, etc

You can do that already if you're setting the scouts manually, just set them up to target only guys in the range you want.

Honestly, I'd really really like the option to turn off the scouting report emails as a whole.

Honestly, I agree with some of the sentiments - while it appears a lot of effort went into the Scouting part of the game - I find it pretty much useless. Ultimately you are only looking at the best prospects 95% of which will not be available when you get your pick. So I just wait until the draft and my pick comes up and then search for who I want -
