Making a Negro League database
I want to create a database of negro league players. I think I could create a reasonably accurate one better than the one that's out there now [no offense to Tresclub]. The problem is I have no idea how to write a database that will work with ootp5. Can anyone help?

You will probably get more specific advice from others, but at the very least it has to be in the same exact format as the Lahman database.

The best thing to do (which I did for my fictional database) is to just open up the master, batting, pitching, fielding, and fieldingOf files in Excel, erase everything except the header in each, and just start entering them.
