Moving Affiliations

is there anyway to move a teams AAA club to another team without it moving the entire roster with it?

As of now there is no real easy way to do it.

If you are anal like me and want to keep the history of a team, then the way I do it is:

1) Enable Commish Mode
2) Go to the current AAA team roster and select ALL players
3) Demote them to Double-A
4) Next go to to the AAA team you want to swap with.
5) Select all the players and demote them to Double-A
6) Make sure that there are NO players on either team's roster
7) Go to League settings for the AAA league
8) Select League & Teams
9) Change the Affiliations in the drop down for the first AAA team
10) Do the same for the other AAA team and you are all set

No need to go in a reassign logos, uniforms, caps, ballparks, city coordinates, weather info, regenerate schedules, etc. The only real issue is that the coaching staffs will remain with their current teams, but if you want them to move too you will have to edit each individual coach and put them on the right team.

There is one other way, just go and rename the teams to what you want them to be named, but you will have to go in and reassign logos, uniforms, caps, ballparks, etc.....and when you look at league history, it will look like the teams swapped cities instead of keeping their histories.

affiliate drop-down box in League Settings->League Structure or league and teams if that's what it ends up being (after you click edit structure you'll see them per team in each division of that league... can click a new league too fromtha tscreen, no need to backtrack).

simply change the teams in question and it's done.

you can also make use of export/import functions if it's more than jsut a small change... but that wouldn't shift history and such as changing affiliates does. (team history, all individual players will be fine in both situations)
