Wrong Champion Annouced

In my third year with the oil kings made it to the memorial cup game 7. I win the game sim to the next day only to read a message saying barrie colts have won 3-2 when I won the game 3-2. All their players even say Memorial Cup won in there history tab my players don't have anything other than whl playoffs won. I was lucky enough to save right before the game so I force quit it and the same thing happened next 3 times, every time I win it says that they do and once they did win and it said they won correctly. I don't want to continue this game until I can get this sorted.

Can you upload the save and we'll have a look at it? Instructions here. Should be fairly easy to find the problem if it's doing that every time.

Uploaded the zip file as Archive.zip through Cyberduck in the saved games folder. Please let me know once you have looked at it.

Yeah, definitely something wrong there, I won as Edmonton and the same thing happened. We'll have to dig into the save and see what's going on - I think I remember a similar issue with the Champions League during beta testing, but I'm not entirely sure it's the same thing.
