Game crashes on startup if not run as adminstrator

I do not have the game installed in "program files" or any such location. Its on my d: drive in a games folder. As such, I do not expect to have to give the app widespread administrator privlidges to correctly run. But I have to. The came crashes everytime at "Start up" and 33% if I don't violate my system's security and give the game administrator rights.

I should never have to give any game administrator privlidges.

Sorry you're having issues! I'll try to help out.

You shouldn't have to run our games in admin mode under normal circumstances.

From what you're describing though, it sounds to me as if the correct permissions (write permissions most likely) may not be assigned to the folder where the game is installed.

It's also possible you simply may not have granted your user account for Windows admin rights for that folder.

You can find some more info on setting file and folder permissions in Windows here.
