Oilers historical challenge bugged?

Has anyone else been able to complete this one? The description says to win the cup 5 times in your first 5 seasons. I did that but at the end of the 5 year period I got a message that said I failed the challenge.

Are there more specific directions? Are we not allowed to trade or something?

No, no restrictions other than the 5 Cups in a row, and you've done that, so you should have gotten it - we'll have a look and see what's gone wrong there.
