playoff seeds bug

I got the number 1 seed playing number 7 and 2 playing 8 in one conference and the other has 3 playing 7th seed and 2 playing 6.

and no, the records weren't tied

That's the old playoff format used from 1981-82 to 1993-94 - the seedings are within the divisions, not the conferences.
