Scouting?

So I just started a league, did an expansion team and have a scout, but the scout hasn't scouted anyone and I wanted the benefit of his ratings for the expansion draft. How do I get the scout to do the scouting?!?

You can go into the functions page under league settings and click "Run OSA & Human Rescout" to update all scouting

So the OSA scouting went but again my scout did nothing, any other ideas?

right click on player and you should get an option to have your scout look at him. Not certain of exact verbiage as i'm not on my game ... but you have to tell the scout what to do, and who you want to scout. And you can only get one report per day. Can't ask for multi-player reports.

Oh so its not like other years where there is the OSA rating and the Scout rating for all players?

You should see ratings from your scout no matter what. Asking him to scout a guy will just give updated ratings.

If you're not seeing any ratings from your scout, you either have a setting wrong or you actually don't have a scout hired.

Definitely have a scout hired -- can't figure out the setting though

Can you post a screenshot of what you see when you try to view your scout's ratings for a player? And a screenshot of the page with the scouting settings, as well.

league settings - main page - bottom-right of page

re-run human & osa scouting. make sure it's the human one too.

if you have one employed on your personell screen and a budget allocated in the scouting screen... all should be well.

if not, fire the guy, re-hire with same contract using Commissioner mode, and see if that works... if not, try another scout and if that works you can copy the ratings to make a clone.

it should be default scout ratings but there's also a dropdown on many screens that allows you to select OSA or human scout ratings.

Yup, exactly what I said. It's almost as if...get ready for it..."No One" is listening...get it???
