I hope the AI is not programmed to make moves in order to give the appearance of doing something. That would be nonsensical.

I may not shuffle my roster as often as the AI but I probably make as many trades as the AI. One thing I don't do is release a player and resign him a week later.

I generally play without financials. However, I've seen that in every financial league I've tried (at least since OOTP16, and I think going back to 14). And those leagues are always no DH, so it doesn't have anything to do with position.
