Free Agency - Import Historical Players

When I go to the free agent screen to Available Actions there is an option to import historical players. I have options of historical database, Masters csv, SeriesPost.csv, Teams.csv, etc. I am not sure which one to choose and what options do I have? Will historical database choose everyone? Does teams.csv allow me to import all players from a historical team?

I'd like to import more than one historical player.

You can select either the Historical database.odb or the master.cvs.
To import multiple players make a text file. (see attached)
For MLers use the html thing on baseball ref so ruthba01,1927,NYY if you want to put him on the Yankees if not leave that blank. My text file probably is blank for that.
Minor leaguers are a bit more complicated i can;t seem to find the thread that answered that.
Negro leaguers are similar to minor leaguers Gibsonj99 is what it used to be . i now might be gibson002jos. Mj might be jordan001mic. If no one confirms this. I'll get ya an answer on Tuesday.

this link has a csv file (with the player ID) of all the Negro League players in the game, as well as minor leaguers. When importing these players, check botyh historical database and milb database. Not at my game, so the terms may be slightly different.
