What's wrong with Michael Fulmer?
Hello guys,
I am not able to get solid performances out of Michael Fulmer. While he is performing great at Detroit, becoming All Star, Golden Glove winner etc, his performance drops rapidly after trading him to my team. His performances at Detroit with very good rating are around 3.1 - 3.3 ERA. I have traded him twice to my Red Sox where his ERA increases to around 4.6 - 5.2 ERA! My pitching coache's reputation is Outstanding, focussing on Power Pitchers. Anyone has done similar obersavtions? ![]()

My guess is that 2017 & 2019 are fairly representative of what to expect from him and 2018 & 2020 are outliers.

well, just a small sample so it may not be true...
hr/9 would probably be the main difference... it's not magical.. and change in results that is "real" must have a cause. the hr factors of each park are drastically different. i'm sure fulmer can be good in boston. all but a few can have bad years, and eventualyl even those few slip eventually due to age or bad luck. he hsould be a solid low to mid 3.00's era kinda guy until he takes a dump. some years ~5 some years sub 3.
