4 inning starters

I was browsing a few online leagues and noticed an inordinate number of starters are yanked after exactly 4 innings. Is this some way of gaming they system or just the AI's baseline for starters? Have I been "doing it wrong" trying tort my pitchers to make it 6 innings?

Are you looking at spring training logs? I believe by default in spring training the AI will pull pitchers at 4 innings, so often you'll see a lot of those at the start of the year. The rest of the year if you're seeing too many guys go exactly 4 it's more likely something in the game that's just being too restrictive at pulling pitchers starting in the 5th inning...
