Does anyone know if Garrett Cave in the first year player draft actually becomes good.

a couple years in & he doesn't look like much in my game. I drafted him in the 2nd.

#28 rated prospect at the moment FWIW.

currently in Columbia (A ball).

It'll depend on your game, the same guy will develop differently in different games depending on the development engine, performance and luck.

If he's a Yankee or a Cub, he'll be great. If he's Corey Kluber, he'll get shelled.

I really think it varies for how well any rookie pick as far as how they develop

Each save will be different. I play with the White Sox since they're my favorite team and I've had a few where Moncada is a complete bust. Luckily, in the one I'm currently playing it's 2020 and he's been consistently a 4-6 WAR player every year.
