world.dat file missing?

I launched the game on steam today and it downloaded a update. When the update finished, I launched the game and now I am getting a error message about some world.dat file is missing and now it won't load my saved game.

world.dat is missing?

It's possible that in applying the update, the default directory may have changed for you. If instead of just using the "continue game", you use the "load game", possibly having to change directories to where your saved game folder is, you should be able to find your old game.
