Pitches before game starts

I am having a problem with watching a game. I am noticing that the balls and strikes are coming thru before a player even steps to the plate. And the balls and strikes are being displayed before each and every pitch! Is there a way to change this?? It will say something like "Here's Eric Hosmer, he's one for one today." And when you look at the balls and strikes, it already says Balls 1 Strikes 0 before the first pitch to him.
UPDATE: I have tried every PBP setting I like and nothing works. I JUST tried a new game and before it even said "Hello baseball fans", the scoreboard said Ball 0 Strike 1 and the pitch was 98 MPH. NO pitch had been thrown yet!

Is this something to be fixed in next patch? Has it been detected by devs or others?

All of the preamble is tied (in one-pitch mode) to the pitch on which the at-bat is resolved. So, I presume you're seeing the count on which the at-bat is about to be resolved after all the preamble is presented.

Of course, if you're in pitch-by-pitch mode, the same applies, except the result of the first pitch (a ball or strike) is displayed during the preamble.

We did some work to fix this, so I believe it should function correctly in the next patch.

Thanks, Matt. I never had that trouble with '17 and right after I bought '18. Then, all of a sudden, it happens.
