What I'm trying to do is take Kil.'s 1-2000 number sequence and rename them with the players in our league. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that this can be done with a program. I've tried Batch Thumbs but that just allows me to change the number sequence. I need to some how get a file of the players names in our league and superimpose that on the pics file names.

I believe this can only be done manually.

You could do it but you need to know some programming, probably. I don't think there is any other way to do it besides writing a program for it. I could do it but only if the names were in a text file, and they aren't.

What if you did a .csv export? They'd be in a text file, then.
