I am starting a Mississippi River League and need help with team names. Here are the teams that will be in the league.

You can use Wikipedia to research information on each city. Maybe an historical event can inspire you. Another option is to do a google search on the city name & logo (ex. memphis logo). Sometimes finding a logo you like needs to be the first priority. I've used sportslogos.net using a similar search. You may find a good logo from another sport that would yield the nickname too. sportslogos.net also has concept logos in their forums.
