Have assumed an online league as Commissioner.
League uses Statslab. Current setup is a bit flaky in a couple of areas. I have the Admin page working OK now, but have a couple of "header issues", the first of which shows on the login page. I am not a coding person, so would love some help! And if I can get some help on this, I'll continue with the other trouble spot, but this first... |

You've got an issue with dbopen.php that is likely due to a formatting error of some sort when the credentials were entered. Check to make sure the quotes are all valid... some text editors insert different kinds of quotes. If that's not making sense, PM me with details and I can assist.

currently having a draft setup issue with statslab. 24 team league, everything is enabled and ready to go, lists and orders are in, however on the draft board itself every team in the league is showing as open-no auto in red beside their name.
not sure why it is not recognizing the human gm's. any ideas? thanks! |

Another rookie Statslab question.
At this time I am uploading OOTP html reports for an online league, then creating and uploading a MySQL dump for Statslab. So far so good. Question: Is there any way to upload one set of files for both? Or point both to same set of files, to upload required info only once? |

If there is anybody online who has a couple of free minutes and could help me out with an install issue I'm having, please PM me. I've never used Statslab before and first time commish, so I'm trying to follow along with the steps but I've got zero experience with SQL.

Hello, new to the forum. My league has been having trouble with the Export Tracker since changing our host a month or two ago. Before then, it worked perfectly, but now we just get a blank page. Exports still work, but the tracker doesn't display any information.
Exports tracker: ![]() Admin config: ![]() Ssh'd in, I see team export data under the exports folder that is specified in the config: ![]() Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong, or how I can further debug this? |

Having an issue importing a draft into StatsLab, getting duplicate players. The underlying Excel file does not have duplicates but after getting imported it does for many players (not all).
Anybody have a clue here? Sent from my 2PS64 using Tapatalk |

Trying to upgrade to v18 version of StatsLab. If I replace the whole folder, I get these errors all over every page:
Warning: mysqli_query() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli, resource given in /home/<snip>/ttbl/StatsLab/manager_records.php on line 14 Warning: mysqli_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, null given in /home/<snip>/ttbl/StatsLab/manager_records.php on line 15 If I leave v16 version of StatsLab in place, then just copy over, say, the manager_records.php file, I still get the exact same error. Any help anyone? Thanks. |

You need to update the dbopen.php file in your sql uploads folder, too.

For those who don't... StatsLab18 has a new version of dbopen.php. You should be able to copy the settings from your previous dbopen.php to the new one and then install that one in the uploads folder.

Is there anybody who would be willing to go in and fix my StatsLab errors I'm receiving for me? I'd be willing to send some money to help compensate for your time. I'm not very savvy when it comes to this stuff and I started receiving an error out of nowhere.
ERROR: OOTP SQL Utilities not configured properly (no ootp_sql_admin table) Warning: mysqli_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in /home/thesala/public_html/StatsLab/nav_functions.php on line 371 Warning: mysqli_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, boolean given in /home/thesala/public_html/StatsLab/nav_functions.php on line 679 If interested, please PM me. |

Not all draft pool players showing up
When I import the draft pool, I get a message that it uploaded 1200 players. When I then Generate Auto Draft List, it only adds 531 players and I have this message. I get a similar message with uploading the draft order and the draft eligible players. The 3 screen images of the messages are included below.
No idea if it's significant but the 531 players loaded seem to be the lower end of the potential scale of players in the draft. None of the "future star" players are loaded.

NVM. Exported the SQL files with replace accents checked, regenerated and all is well.

*I've deleted the previous post. I've answered my own questions while digging into StatsLab. Got the hang of it now. Haha.

SQL errors on StatsLab 18 install for new league
I consider StatsLab a must for online leagues, and I'm hoping for some help from the hive to get it up and running in a new league.
We've made it all the way through installation, successfully connected to the database and the validator shows all files OK, but then get errors when trying to log in to complete setup. Here's what we're looking at: Successful validation: First error after clicking "StatsLab Admin" link: Second error(s) after clicking "click here to login": I have only the most rudimentary understanding of code, so any help in resolving these errors would be truly appreciated! |

Try this first
Login Issues
— No Users in Login Dropdown — If you are unable to login because there are no users in the login dropdown, there are several possible reasons for this. Regardless of the reason, the fix is relatively simple: - Login to phpMyAdmin or whatever database admin tool you're using for MySQL - Connect to your StatsLab database - Drop the human_managers and ootp_sql_users tables - Open StatsLab in your browser - Access the sql_file_load.php page - Load the leagues, sub_leagues, divisions, teams, and team_relations tables - Load the human_managers table (do this after loading the others) You should now be able to access the login page with the drop down populated. *Note that this will not erase user settings or change user passwords. From the StatsLab wiki page and it worked for me! http://www.rhinopeel.com/StatsLab/wi...roubleshooting

Statslab draft question
OOTP18,
When a team times out and StatsLab auto-picks, it is picking the first player in the draft alphabetically by last name (who happens to be a scrub MR). As I recall it didn't do this last season (also with OOTP18). Is there a setting somewhere about draft intelligence that I've forgotten about? Haven't been able to find anything. Right now I'm having to go in and clear that pick to allow a more intelligent pick to be made. I'd rather not have to keep doing that. (I know - have the GMs actually show up for the draft - real life issues for some).
