Ability to clone league options & financial settings

When putting together large universes, this ability would come in very handy.

Ideally the settings could be stored as user-defined presets that can be applied to a chosen league, but saving them as an importable XML (or even just the ability to copy & paste) would be fine as well.

Can you not use template files for this?

Don't templates bring along entire structures, players, parks & everything?

I meant world template files that you can create in the create league screen when you make a new game.

I would like to bring this topic up again. World template files don't work for minor leagues and feeder leagues since you can't save them alone. It would be awesome to make a high school league and copy it ten times instead of making ten leagues from scratch.

you can do that during game creation process with templates, but not after you have created the league.

open same template each time and it adds the league again.

you could make a template of each individual league that *could* be added and make it modular as far as creation in future. those template files during game creation are very small too, so a bunch of them is no problem.

that doesn't preclude me from liking the op's suggestion, either. this has limitations, that (op's) does not.

Possible workaround:

could probably hijack a historic year and edit it to your liking for import. no big deal if you don't play historic leagues.
