DL in Post Season
If a player comes back from the disabled list after the playoffs have started, and if he is not eligible for the post season (or if your team didn't make the post season), then you should not be forced to waive the player.
Essentially the only options are waive or send to minors for 20-30 days, after which if the playoffs are still going you will need to waive him. This is silly, you should only need to put him on the 40 man roster (if he has a major league contract). This is a very bad defect because it may lead to players being lost to waivers unnecessarily. |

You should always be able to bring him back to the main roster, as long as there's space there. If using playoff rosters, that's tracked separately. You still must abide by the regular or expanded roster limits, though, so if your roster is full you might have to move guys around to make space for them.
