Game practically freezes when trying to access FA page or Offseason

This happens with EVERY league and EVERY Offseason Center page. The game freezes or constantly builds player lists.

FTP Server is unavailable to load the world.dat file.

FTP site still unavailable to send file to.

UPDATE: To be more precise with what is going on, the game freezes and does not respond when accessing any league Offseason Center page. It will constantly build a player list when attempting to access the free agency page. This is bothersome for when I actually do start playing this game (I plan on simming ten years before accepting a GM role).

When you say every league, do you mean even if you just start a new small league or use the quickstart?

What are your system specs? This is generally only likely to happen if the system is overloaded.

Have you restated your computer lately? That can actually help with problems like this on occasion.

It might be worth it to change the default to use page selectors (can change that in the game settings), to see if that improves things. We've seen cases where if there are too many FA in the world, it can take a long time to process them all for those various pages. Another option would be to simply delete many excess from the list, if you have an excessively large number of free agents in your world.

I'll look into this when I get home. Was way too tired and groggy yesterday, plus was more inclined with watching Judge go ham last night.

quick update:

Seems changing it to default page selectors finally fixed everything. I always thought that was the default option! Anyway, it doesn't completely freeze, just takes a good five minutes to load the Free Agents page. Nothing too bad.
