Ken Church of iMLB (Where are you)...?
Have any of you fellow gamer's out there in cyber baseball been in contact with Church from iMLB fame. Ken took a well deserved hiatus from the league back in July and we have not heard from him since. Last we all heard, He was taking a break due to family and job matter's, Since then the site has gone off the net and no word from him (Which I find very unlike him).
I've had the pleasure of being in 2 of the greatest leagues on the net, a historical league (PWBL) and the iMLB. I have never seen a more organized and well run league than Church's, He was professional and put out some of the best creative stuff on his website. I looked forward to each sim just to read his articles and cover design of the iMLB Weekly. Normally I would not make a post if a league went under, I would just move on to the next one, But I loved that league, Which was my favorite. And dammit........I miss it! This reminds me of the BBL (Black Sox Baseball League) Good league until the commissioner leaves the league without notice.
This has happen many times in the past. If the commissioner no longer wanted to run the league, he/she should give the league to someone else and let him/her run it.

He gave everyone notice he had some issues and the league was going to be shut down for a month at least. I think just some of the owners are restless now that the website is down and no sign of him.
Is always a strange phenomenan(?) when someone is online regularly and then completely vanish without even a token appearance or contact. |

It should be noted that he was contacted, not too long ago, saying that he was awaiting something on the domain, and that he was gearing up to return.

I agree. It was a sad day in Mudville the day the iMLB went offline and we're still waiting in San Diego for Church's return. Hope he gets back fast.
