Bugs?

Hi, I havent played OOTP 17 yet...bought it a while ago, and decided not to get 18 beacuse the new features weren't really that intriguing to me. That being said, the price is $20 now for a few more days and I was wondering which version is less buggy (i know, not really much for bugs in these games)?? Or if you've played both versions, is it worth getting 18?

All you need to do is see the posts about '18. See many people complaining ? No. Then get the game.

That's the rule of thumb that I use and recommend. You are always going to see isolated posts like "This game is broken" only to discover that the player did something wrong or his computer malfunctioned.

What I look for is follow-up. Do other people post with "Me too"? How many respond and how persistent are they?

When I see a thread go on and on about an issue, then I believe it's real. When you see several of those types of threads at the same time on the board, then I know a version/patch is buggy and I may choose to avoid it.

That is not the case at the present time.

I never saw the more in-depth updates/features before. Must've missed it, but it definitely shows me some stuff that I'm interested in. For $20, I might as well get the new version. And doesn't seem like theres much for bugs at all. I've been trying to play DDSCB 17 and I still run into tons of errors when I don't do things exactly as they want, so I'm a little on edge with errors and bugs. I just gave up on that game, which will save me plenty of time that I can put into this game instead. Thanks for your help...i appreciate the response.
