Hiring staff
Just wondering when hiring staff for ur team i know good staff won't come in and be staff for ur minor teams but just wondering when it comes to minor team hiring what do u look for? Do u go based in rep or what the profile says about the staff member kind of thing just wondering

First I filter to the guys whose specialty I want in my organization. I play in a pitchers park so I tend to prefer contact and patience coaches to power for example. For the Rockies you'd want groundball pitching coaches etc. For managers I personally am a big believer in sabremetrics so I'll go for those guys, but really that's up to you.
Then I try to find guys whose reputation is relatively good compared to their length of experience/age. Like a 30 year old guy with only 1-2 years experience with an "average" reputation still has a lot of room for growth compared to a guy with "decent" reputation but who is 70 years old with 40 years experience. |

i cheat and look at ratings.
mlb coach sliders - i edit don't care about strat in MiL just teaching etc... e.g. i have 3 Rookie-level leagues, so i diversify and fit prospects by need (coach focus). Last edited by NoOne; 07-08-2017 at 01:00 AM. |
