How good and accurate for a yearly replay, Historical

How accurate is this game for doing a historical replay, example if I were to do a 1990 replay or 1998 or 1977 are stats and team stats accurate?

Within a couple percent or less, across the board, in all categories.

the probabilities are well-matched... strictly, loosely or let it go free with the development engine controlling it (settings relative to controlling ratings of the historical players control this, empirically).

you could force the engine to hit the totals for that year perfectly, too... but no guarantee player X hits the same HR as the real life counterpart did.

law of independent results... just because someone "should" hit .300/.400/.500+ doesn't mean that he will. who knows where your results fall on the distribution curve... may hit the lottery, so to speak.
