I want to start an expansion team.. I know with ootp 17 u started march 25th in season 1 is there a custom state date for this one or am i better off to auto sim season 1 and then start my expansion team after season 1?

You are better off simming the 2017 season and then expand the league when the World Series ends, that way the expansion teams have a chance to sign free agents and not just what is left over.
