Milestone Settings
Trying to ensure my Hall of Fame Inductions are the true cream of the crop, I've changed threshold induction percent to 80 and Drop players below x% to 10. I've also tinkered with the milestone setting. I've set hits to 2500, career home runs to 400, pitcher wins to 250, pitcher K's to 2500 and saves to saves to 400. My question to y'all is, I set both runs and rbi's to 1500 instead of the default 1000 and I'm starting to wonder if that's too high? What do you suggest?

When I start a league, I make a copy of the league and sim out however far I plan to go and then look at the leaderboard/HOF and make adjustments accordingly for milestone settings. I use 1250 for RBIs/runs but you should be ok with 1500 also. RBIs and runs are so dependant on the other batters

does that even affect voting?
if concerend start with "too high" restrictions and slowly bump them down... or keep it high and you act as the "veteran's committee"... add a player here and there that slips by... better than kicking one out after induction, i guess? |

Yes, in another thread a few months ago someone on the development team says it affects voting. I suppose some milestones are more important than others though and I think it also considers other factors.
