Import problems for fictional league

Bought OOTP 18 before realizing there was no demo of 17 to import my fictional UBA from 16. But the guys here did it for me, which took longer, but it worked.

However, as expected, none of my teams' logos or uniforms imported, nor did any of the player histories. Every player's history is blank. Those I can live with.

However, within this baseball empire, there are two independent leagues, the Texas League and the Pacific Baseball League. While playing out games this current season, I looked at the some of the results from those two leagues and was surprised to see a lot of homeruns by pitchers. So I delved into the rosters of these teams and was shocked to see no team had more than three or four position players, so their pitchers were automatically filling those holes. I went through ALL 32 teams, moving players off the reserve roster onto the active roster, redid the lineups and pitcher staffs and continued playing.

However, just two days later, the rosters were back the way they were, with all of the guys I had just moved to active back to reserved. After fixing them a second time and moving on, they did it again.

Any clue what is happening? This never happened in 16. I am thinking I may have no choice but to delete these two leagues at season's end, because at this stage, they are unplayable.
