Play by play oddity

In playing out a game, the following oddity in the play-by-play came up. A batter grounded out to the first baseman who apparently carried the ball to the base to make the out. At least that's what the log said (see below). The play-by-play suggested the same thing initially, but then it mentioned a throw (see below). So something is a bit off here.
